NINJA KIDS PROGRAM (AGE 6-16)
The Ninja Kids program is specially designed with young boys and girls in mind, adding fun to learning ninjutsu basics and building life skills. Ninja Kids provides a safe and encouraging environment for students to learn in. Students are taught to respect themselves and those around them.
Ninja Kids believes that safety is the most important issue. All classes are supervised by a world renowned instructor and foam protected training materials are always used. Students are taught that problems are best solved using non violent methods and any techniques learned in our classes are meant purely for defensive purposes.
Ninja Kids is an age-specific curriculum that is designed to teach children important life skills as well as martial arts techniques, in a positive learning environment. Students develop confidence, focus, and respect for self and others. We encourage them to always strive to be their best with praise and positive reinforcement.
We understand that kids participate in all sorts of character building activities such as sports and civic commitments. They learn how to act in a positive and constructive manner, get physically fit, and gain knowledge. What makes learning martial arts unique is that students get these lessons in addition to learning to defend themselves.
Our motto of ancient traditions modern applications, means that all the skills we teach will help protect your children.
Children will learn not only social, physical, emotional, and intellectual skills, but also will begin learning techniques and fundamentals of life skills such as discipline, focus, and respect. They will not only acquire martial arts skills, but also will become healthier, more emotionally stable, confident and behave better as individuals and in group settings. We will also explore the five treasures of life: Strength, Courage, Determination, Patience and Nobility.
The students will:
Improve their balance and mobility
Discover their own physical abilities
Get control over obstacles and falls
Improve their understanding of their psychomotor synchronization
Control their aggressiveness
Learn group rules and respect for others
Become less sensitive to pain and discomfort
Gain self-confidence and learn discipline
Participate in goal orientated activities
The Warrior Creed
"Wherever I am,anyone in need has a friend. Whenever I return home, everyone is glad I am there"
What does the Warrior Creed mean to you? Let’s take a look at it line by line and figure out what it means:
“Wherever I am, anyone in need has a friend.”
How many times have you dropped your books in the hall and no one stopped to help you pick them up? How would you feel if someone did stop to help you? Pretty good, right? Now think about what you can do to help someone the next time they drop their books. Don’t you get a good feeling when you help someone? A true Ninja helps those in need because it’s not only the right thing to do, but because it makes them feel good afterwards.
Whenever I return home, everyone is glad I am there.”
How many times has someone in your family come home in a bad mood, and that made everyone else unhappy? It’s not fun, is it? Now reverse the situation. If everyone at home is in a bad mood, but someone comes home in a great mood, what happens? Usually, the happy person puts the rest of the family in a good mood. Wouldn’t you rather be happy than sad? To the Ninja, family is very important. It is the job of the Ninja to protect the family, and one way is to protect them from being unhappy. Most of the time it’s as simple as a smile, or helping with the chores.
NINJUTSU FOR ADULTS (AGE 16+)
By learning to master the physical aspects and techniques of ninpo, you will also begin a journey to explore the balance between your physical and psychological being.
